Once you enter the Kinvara Rock and Road 3/4 Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K we can not offer you a refund due to injury or for any other reason, including the race being postponed for reasons out of our control (e.g. Covid or weather-related events). In the event of a race postponement or cancellation your entry will automatically be deferred to the next event.

However, we know its frustrating if you have a genuine reason for not being able to run so we can offer two options: a deferral to next year or a transfer of your place to someone else for this year.

1. Defer from 2027 to 2028
Deadline: Tues 16th Feb 2027
Charge: €10 per entry

Defer to 2028

2. Transfer your place to a friend
Deadline: Tues 16th Feb 2027
Charge: free

To transfer your place to someone else for 2027:
– log in to Eventmaster using the email address you used to register or click on the Manage Your Bookings link in your confirmation email.
– go to your order and click on TICKET TRANSFER
– enter the First Name, Last Name and Email of the person you wish to transfer the place to.
– they will then receive an email with details of how to complete the transfer and provide their DOB, address, emergency contact details, etc.

If you have already received a race number in the post you will need to get this number to the new participant.
